GREAT EAGLE BOOK
How to find the common ground between a business corporation and the city it was founded?
The Great Eagle Group was founded in Hong Kong 6 decades ago. As the Group celebrates its 60th anniversary in 2023, the Chairman and management team wanted to pay tribute to their Founder-and sought to reaffirm the Group’s commitment to his philosophy, their unwavering commitment to Hong Kong while illustrating their worldwide achievement, business diversification and sustainable policies. The target audience for this project included business partners worldwide, financial affiliates, staff and family members.
Twohundred was tasked with this interesting and pivotal challenge. We were cautious not to take a selfongratulatory approach. After a few indepth sessions with the Chairman himself and key staff members, we learned valuable insights into the Group’s history, culture and ethics, plus its dedication and ongoing initiatives for the common good and common future of Hong Kong. This information coincides with the research we did on Hong Kong’s socioeconomic trends and demands and the role the Group played in Hong Kong’s thriving success. In fact, reflecting on the Group’s journey was akin to a documentary on Hong Kong’s history.
The theme of “Our Common Sky” was brought to life with a book consisting of four chapters: “Common Ground”, “Common Base”,“Common World”, and “Our Common Future”. The book presents a poetic illustration of the Group’s footprint that weaves corporate achievement with a story celebrating Hong Kong.
The theme was well appreciated by the Group and impressions deepened through the book’s artistic presentation and beautifully crafted content. An accompanying video was produced for the occasion.
We are honoured to receive a letter of compliment from the Chairman himself.

We are privileged to meet with the Chairman to receive his personal narrative and input.

From briefing to research, interviews, theming, copy-crafting, design and art production, this project spanned over a year. This project goes beyond a celebratory book and video, but represents an artistic archive of our city’s evolution.

Here is the 60th anniversary video of Great Eagle Group.
