How we helped to manage expectations 7 years in advance.

Twohundred was tasked with arousing public interesting and containing potential disruptions 7 years before the targeted completion date of Shatin Central Link completion with certain major disruption throughout the construction period. Realising Shatin Central Link’s significance in the MTR blueprint and reshaping the entire network over the decade to come, we positioned this new route as “Network for Hong Kong’s next generation” with a campaign emphasising the convenience and connectivity that youths of the future would be able to enjoy. In order to engage the youth and appeal to young parents, the idea needed an imaginative approach. To surpass the ordinary, the narrative featured whimsical trains in the forms of a gigantic dragonfly, whale, giraffe and even an armadillo roaming around Diamond Hill. The campaign was well received by viewers and had earned huge recognition and acclaim in the public poll of TVB’s most popular TVC contest in 2014.

MTR was one of Twohundred’s founding clients since 2008 and had taken the lead of major lines launch and extension and some of the milestone campaigns throughout the partnership.
